My videos document fact-based stories. One story that falls under News Literacy is my video about parking at WLHS. This is a contentious issue in the community and students hold strong opinions about what should be done. My job was to interview a student who sued the city over the parking conflict and provide facts about how to solve it. This required hours of research of city documents and information, which is almost nonexistent.
The next example is two videos about the walk-out at my school over protests on the national issue of gun violence. These covered multiple sources to showcase a national issue. The video also fact-checks its sources by using direct evidence and quotes from the speakers and organizers of the walkouts.
